Reconozco mi adoración por las tipografías sencillas, las maquetaciones meticulosas, la fotografía cálida, el papel cuidado y el contenido que aporta calidad, sencillez y un estilo de vida, más que una vida con estilo.
Lejos del consumismo barato (que no de precio) y aburrida ya de marcas, eventos y gente casposa, me alejo cada vez más de publicaciones ostentosas que no son nada. Que regalan cualquier cosa, reclamando la atención de quienes jamás podrían comprar una sola prenda de su interior, y que, a pesar de su peso, carecen de contenido.
Hoy os quiero hablar de dos publicaciones que saben que el lujo está pasado de moda.
Apartamento. La descubrí hace un año y medio en
Magasand. Apartamento habla sólo con su exquisita maquetación. Habla de orden, de calidez y de hogar. Al final, Apartamento habla del bienestar, de lo que somos realmente, que somos únicamente en casa. Sin artificios ni publi, ni objetos regalados. Es una publicación íntima, acogedora y real. Con moqueta, calcetines y colillas en el cenicero.

I admit I just love simple fonts, meticulous layouts, warm photography, delicate paper and high quality content, simplicity and a ¨way of life¨ more than a ¨stylish life¨.
Far from cheap consumerism (not in terms of price) and already bored of Brands, events and cheesy people, I distance myself from flashy publications that are merely nothing. Not significant items are given as presents trying to get the attention from those who will never buy any piece of what they are showing in their pages. Heavy pages that lack of content.
Today I’d like to talk about two publications that know luxury is old fashioned.
Apartamento. I first saw it one year and a half ago in Magasand. Apartamento can get you only with its exquisite layout. It’s all about tidiness, warmth and home sense. At the end of the day, Apartamento is all about welfare, about what we really are, only at home. Neither artifice, advertising nor presents are needed. It’s an intimate, welcoming and real publication. With carpet, socks on and cigarette butts.

A guide for small gatherings, o la búsqueda de la belleza, la armonía, la elegancia, y el estilo de vida sencillo. Detalles, naturaleza, femineidad y comida. Pero también moda: en el campo, en la bici, ante el frío y ante tener que caminar sobre la hierba. Así que aquí no hay tacones, ni joyas, ni perfumes
exclusivos que puedes comprar en centros comerciales atestados de gente.

Months ago, Raquel (Gratis Total) introduced me to Kinkolk Magazine, "A guide for small gatherings", or the quest of beauty, harmony, elegance and style from a simple way of life. Details, nature, femininity and food. But also fashion: in the countryside, riding a bike, facing the cold and walking in the grass. No heels, jewellery, exclusive perfumes (that you can find in crowded shopping centres) are allowed.

Both Kinfolk and Apartamento are mentioned in some of my favourites blogs. That kind of blogs nobody talks about, but that kind of blogs, which are more modern than any other, at least for me.
